Q: Is it safe to shop in your store?
A: Yes, we have installed the SSL certification, while you create your account, login to your account and process to checkout, all your information will be protected by the SSL. All the billing information will be collected by PayPal only.

Q: Do I need a PayPal account to place order?
A: No, you don't. We accept all major credit cards and paypal. All credit card orders will be transfered to PayPal's secure page for the order processing, you don't need to sign up for a PayPal account to process credit card orders.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept the following forms of payment:

At this time, The Yellow Tags does not accept C.O.D.

Q: How do you guys charge shipping and handling?
A: The Yellow Tags is proud to ship via UPS Ground which offers package tracking. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped via email. With our Free Shipping promotion, all products are subject to Free Ground Shipping via UPS. We will ONLY charge Shipping and Handling for returned orders. *Free Shipping offer is only for Lower 48 United States. Please check our Shipping and Returns Policy for detail.

Q: What is Oversize item charge?
A: Oversize item charge is only applied on Size 4/4 Cellos. Starting from Jan, 2007, all US carriers (Fedex, UPS, etc.) will collect an extra fee for oversize items, this charge will not be included in the Free Shipping offer.

Q: Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico?
A: All domestic orders to be shipped anywhere other than the 48 continental states will need to contact us before placing their order,
additional charge will be applied.

Q: Can you ship to my P.O.Box, APO, FPO, and International Address?
A: Yes. but additional charge will be applied. Please contact us for shipping rate.

Q: Can I have my order shipped to an address other than the billing address?
A: Yes, in most cases. When an order is shipping to a different address than the billing address, we require that all the credit card information to be verified with the issuing bank. This policy protects all parties from unauthorized card use. Contact your credit card company and let them know that you would like to add an alternate or authorized address. If your credit card company does not allow this, simply have them list the address in your account notes or memo area. This will help avoid unnecessary delays in processing your order.

Q: Do you guarantee that an order will ship out the same day it is placed?
A: Orders must be placed by 3:00 PM Pacific Time to be processed the same day. Most orders placed by that cut-off time will be shipped that day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will be processed the next business day. Some circumstances may prevent an order from being processed on the same day, we will let you know if there are any such delays. Some orders may be held for verification. This may cause a slight delay in shipping your order to you.

Q: Do you charge sales tax on your products?
A: The only state for which we must charge sales tax is California. If you are shipping item to this state then you will be charged the local sales tax rates.

Q: How can I check the status on my order?
A: You can track your order online by logging in your account and we will also send you an email for status update after we shipped out the package.

Q: I never received confirmation of my order. What do I do?
A: Please contact us to verify that we have your correct email address on file. Our Customer Service representative will be happy to check on the status of your order, and provide you with any tracking information available.

Q: My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
A: If your order appears to have been damaged in shipping, you should contact us and the carrier that delivered your package.
UPS: 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877).
Please hold on to the damaged merchandise, the box, and all the packing material. The shipper will determine if the damage is their fault, and will contact us with the outcome.

Reference Guide: Ebony, Ebonized and Ebonite

Ebony: Is one of the densest woods available. It is a preferred wood for violin fittings.
Ebonized: Most commonly used to describe a hard wood that is dyed or stained dark black to give it the look of ebony. It is sometimes mistakenly used for woods that are painted black, an inferior way of treating the wood.
Ebonite: A hard rubber or plastic that resembles ebony.
